History of Portrait Plasma Skin Rejuventaion

Portrait Plasma Skin rejuvenation or resurfacing is a clinical procedure that can help you attain a youthful appearance.

History of Portrait Plasma Skin Rejuvenation

Portrait Plasma skin rejuvenation has been successfully carried out in the US since 2004 by dermatologists, cosmetic physicians and plastic surgeons to improve skin function and appearance.

Portrait Plasma Skin Rejuvenation

This procedure uses pulses of hot, ionized, inert nitrogen gas to alter structures below the surface of the skin. This improves the skin uniformly and gives it a youthful, unblemished appearance. It creates the right conditions and growth factors for generating new skin and creating new collagen and elastin, and results in the continuous improvement of the skin even as long as a year after the treatment has been completed.

The skin remains in place and acts as a protective barrier. There is a reversal of wrinkles, excessive pigmentation, acne, scarring and sun damage. Areas such as the face, neck and hands can be treated by this procedure.

Precautions

The procedure is not suitable for people with dark skin. It should not be performed on people who are immunodeficient, patients with a history of keloid scarring or those who have been treated with Roaccutane in the past year. It is also not advisable for pregnant and nursing women.
