Treatments that Can Be Combined with Liquid Facelift

Liquid Facelift is a revolutionary technique that will not require surgery and may replace a traditional facelift. The Liquid Facelift reduces wrinkling and gives a finer texture to the skin. The procedure employs injections that will fill the areas that have lost volume.

Liquid Facelift can be combined with several other procedures that may be used to enhance the effects of the facelift.

Genesis Skin Rejuvenation

Genesis Skin Rejuvenation is a procedure that can be combined with a Liquid Facelift. The Liquid Facelift will reduce wrinkles and add volume, while Genesis will reduce the appearance of large pores, scars, age spots or other skin imperfection, so that the skin will be tight and look fresh.

Fraxel

Fraxel is a term that encompasses a wide range of skin treatments that can reduce wrinkles and fix skin pigmentation problems or eliminate scars. Fraxel is similar to Genesis Skin Rejuvenation, so the patient may choose one or the other to combine with the Liquid Facelift.

Both Fraxel and Genesis Skin Rejuvenation are non surgical methods.

Chemical Peels

Chemical facial peels may be recommended to prolong the effects of a Liquid Facelift. The chemical peels remove the dead skin cells and leave the face rejuvenated, allowing the skin cells to breathe and keep a fresh appearance.

Radiesse

Radiesse is an injectible treatment that can be combined with a Liquid Facelift treatment. Typically, Radiesse may be applied when the effects of Liquid Facelift start to diminish. This treatment may be applied in a few sensitive areas, such as around the eyes or around the mouth, where wrinkles tend to form more frequently.

Dermal Fillers

There are a few semi permanent and permanent dermal fillers that may be combined with a Liquid Facelift treatment. The dermal fillers are injected under the skin and will restore volume. With aging, the fat on the face tends to be lost and the skin becomes thinner, giving a saggy appearance. The dermal fillers will restore the 3D appearance of the face.

There are a few dermal fillers that can be combined with a Liquid Facelift:

  • Evolence, which uses porcine collagen
  • Artefill, employs bovine collagen
  • Hyaluronic acid filler

The plastic surgeon will determine which dermal filler is more suitable, according to each patient in part.

Minimally Invasive Liposuction

A Liquid Facelift can be combined with a minimally invasive liposuction treatment that can reduce the fat and also tighten the skin. Ideally, the liposuction should be performed before the Liquid Facelift, so that the facelift will have optimal results.

There are various types of liposuction techniques that may be used on the facial area:

  • Water assisted liposuction such as Body Jet Liposuction
  • Laser assisted liposuction such as Slim Lipo or Smart Lipo
  • Ultrasound assisted liposuction
  • Non invasive liposuction such as Vaser Liposelection, that involves only injections

BOTOX®

BOTOX® can be combined with a Liquid Facelift. The treatment will paralyze the facial muscles, so the formation of dynamic wrinkles will be stopped. Consequently, the effects of the Liquid Facelift will last more.
