How Triniti is Performed

Triniti skin treatment is a skin rejuvenation system that uses three separate, distinct treatments to improve the appearance of spider veins, discolorations and hyperpigmentation, age and sun spots and sagging skin at the brow, neck, jawline and nose. Triniti improves the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles and makes the skin look smoother, younger and firmer.

Parts of the Triniti Procedure

The Triniti procedure is made up of three distinct treatment stages. They are:

  • FotoFacial RF Color Correction, which uses pulsed light to even out kin tone, correct sun damage and eliminate changes in pigmentation caused by spider veins and age spots.
  • Refirme Skin Tightening uses radio frequency to tighten sagging skin on the forehead, jawline, chin, neck and nose.
  • Matrix IR Fractional for Wrinkles, which uses a fractional laser to improve the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.

How the Triniti Skin Treatment Procedure Works

The first part of the Triniti skin series, FotoFacial Color Correction, uses pulsed light to penetrate to the deepest layer of skin. The damaged capillaries and hyperpigmented areas responsible for rosacea, spider veins and other irregularities in skin color respond to the pulsed light's heat energy, with the result that skin color will become more even.

The second part of the series, Refirme Skin Tightening, uses a combination of infrared light and radio frequency to heat the dermis, or second layer of the skin, to a depth of 4 to 5 mm. The Refirme treatment not only firms existing collagen fibers for an instantly younger appearance, but it stimulates collagen production to give the skin a more youthful appearance in the long term.

The third step of the Triniti procedure, Matrix IR Fractional for Wrinkles, targets problem areas on the face, neck and chin. It uses fractional lasers to remold the collagen fibers in the skin, and stimulate faster collagen production to increase the appearance of fine lines and deeper wrinkles.

Though Triniti is largely pain free, some patients experience discomfort during the procedure. The doctor can administer an analgesic cream before treatment. Triniti is appropriate for all skin types.

Each treatment session lasts from 40 to 60 minutes, and the three sessions will be scheduled three to four weeks apart to give the skin time to recover from the procedure. Triniti is an outpatient procedure that requires little recovery time. Most patients are able to resume their normal activities right away. Side effects include redness, swelling, sensitivity and itching.

Benefits of the Triniti System

Triniti is safe for a variety of skin types and complexions. It's an outpatient procedure that's non-invasive, so patients won't have to undergo surgery to get results. Patients will begin to notice the results right away, as soon as the first treatment.

Results of the Triniti Series

The results of the Triniti series skin treatment can last for up to several months. Patients can prolong the results of Triniti by avoiding sunlight, smoking and alcohol.
