Lapex Laser Liposuction

What is Lapex Laser Lipo?

Lapex Laser Lipo is a non-invasive way to reduce the amount of fat that is in the body. These treatments are able to target specific areas where fat has accumulated and works to reduce it, allowing for contouring of the body and improved muscle tone.

How does Lapex Laser Lipo work?

The procedure works by utilizing cold diode lasers to penetrate the layers of the epidermis and the dermis. These lasers hit the fat cells beneath the skin and cause the release of water, glycerol and free fatty acids into the lymphatic system. A set of probes, meanwhile, stimulates the lymphatic system in order to promote fast absorption and processing of the chemicals that are released. This release of chemicals causes the fat cells to shrink in size.

What areas of the body does Lapex Laser Lipo treat?

Nearly any area of the body can be treated. Some areas include the arms, waist, legs, abdomen and back.

What are the advantages of Lapex Laser Lipo over other similar treatments?

There are two main advantages that Lapex Laser Lipo has over other treatments. The first is that it is completely non-invasive. No incisions need to be made and no needles inserted for the procedure to work. The second advantage is that Lapex stimulates the natural processes in the body that cause weight loss. This allows for a longer lasting reduction in fat.

Who is a candidate for Lapex Laser Lipo?

Any adult can benefit from this treatment. Those who are looking for subtle body contouring, however, may find they achieve their results more quickly.

How is the Lapex Laser Lipo performed?

Before any treatments are performed the first step is a consultation in order to determine what the expectations are and what the results could be. A typical treatment session lasts 40-50 minutes. The patient lays down in a way to expose the area to be treated. Two large paddles are then secured to the area. Two smaller probes are placed in specific areas to stimulate the lymphatic system. The paddles, which contain the lasers, are activated for 10 minutes at a time and allowed to work. The paddles are moved as needed in order to treat all of the desired area.

What is the recovery like?

There is no recovery time after a Lapex Laser Lipo treatment. Normal activities can be resumed immediately afterwards.

What will the results be like?

Patients can expect to see 40 to 60 grams of fat released after each treatment. Significant results can be seen after four treatments, although since every patient is different this number may vary. Results are also dependent on the patient following a regime that involves exercise and a healthy diet. Once the lymphatic system receives the released chemicals, exercise is necessary to remove the remaining fat from the body.

What are the risks?

The procedure itself has no side effects or risks because of its non-invasive nature. However, certain people should avoid having this treatment. Women who are pregnant, people with epilepsy, cancer or those who have a pacemaker cannot receive Lapex Laser Lipo.

Is Lapex Laser Lipo approved for use in the U.S.?
