Tired of Spider Veins?

Tired of Spider Veins?

The temperature is rising as summer draws near. Out come the shorts, tank tops and bathing suits – are you ready?

The appearance of spider veins is very normal and anyone can have them. You can get them as you grow older, you can get them during pregnancy, and you can even get them from working out. If you happen to do prolonged sitting or standing, you can expect to develop them also.

For unsightly spider veins, you can try Sclerotherapy or Laser Vein removal.   Sclerotherapy, or as it is more commonly called, Sclero, is done by injecting an irritant solution into the problem vein. It damages the vein walls causing them to seal shut, then turning it into scar tissue, which heals over time.

If you’re afraid of needles, then perhaps laser vein removal is a better choice for you  These lasers operate at pinpoint accuracy and non-invasively. All you will feel is a little heat on the treated area.

Something to remember is that both treatments can be done in a short amount of time. Most treatments are normally offered in 30-minute sessions allowing you to come on your lunch hour or on your way home from work.
