Carnegie Mellon Gets $1 Million For Brain Research


Leading institutions are crucial to the kind of medical research that allows for the development of improved treatment and prevention options. But, of course, in order to be able to complete that kind of research, those institutions need money. Carnegie Mellon has just gotten a great opportunity in the form of over $1 million for the purpose of developing brain research.

The money goes towards the development of research that has used fMRI scanning technology to better understand the way that the brain functions. With an increased understanding of the function of the brain, medical researchers are able to move forward with various types of medical advances.
