Isolaz is an acne treatment system for the face and body
that combines a vacuum with broadband light therapies to cleanse your skin,
target acne causing bacteria, and deliver topical acne-fighting medication. Isolaz
treatment is often combined with other topical acne medications to help your
skin heal and clear acne breakouts.
How Isolaz treatment is performed
Isolaz is a simple, 15 minute in-office procedure that doesn’t
require anesthesia. Your skincare specialist will cleanse your skin and moisten
it with water. The Isolaz hand held device is then passed over your skin. It provides
a light suction to clear your pores while also flashing a powerful broadband
light that kills acne causing bacteria. The Isolaz device also applies
acne-fighting medications such as benzoyl peroxide to your skin while it is
under a vacuum. This is called profusion, and it helps the medication penetrate
deeper into your skin for increased effectiveness.
Recovery and results
There’s no downtime after treatment, but you may
have some slight skin redness for a few hours. You can return to your normal activities
immediately after Isolaz treatment. You’ll notice results in the days and weeks
following treatment. Four to six treatments are recommended for best results. Read More
