Dr. Alexis Parker M.D. practiced emergency medicine for over 16 years in inter-city hospitals in Detroit, Michigan and Fort Lauderdale, Florida. In 1993 she changed her focus from the ER room to anti-aging medicine. Since then, she has dedicated her education and medical practice to become an expert in anti-aging medicine. Dr. Parker specializes in menopause, andropause, bioidentical hormone therapy, weight management, adrenal fatigue, energy loss, low libido and other common age-related symptoms and treatments. Although she is an MD, she firmly believes in treating people as naturally as possible, using medications only when necessary.
