Dr. Stratt directly performs, or oversees, every procedure that is done at Body Care. Dr Stratt is an accomplished physician with years of experience. He is a board certified physician through the American Board of Medical Specialists. Before entering the world of aesthetic medicine and surgery he spent nearly 10 years as an attending Emergency Room physician. After years of being on the "front line", Dr. Stratt changed directions in his career and is now one of the most sought after liposculpture surgeons and artists around.

He has trained with some of the most prolific and accomplished cosmetic surgeons in the world. He is a member of numerous prestigious organizations including the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery, The American Society of Lipo-Suction Surgery, the American Society of Laser Medicine and Surgery, as well as the International Society of Cosmetic Laser Surgeons. He is also the president and founder of the American College of Cosmetic Physicians. In addition, his vast experience as an Emergency Physician along with our fully trained and certified nursing staff, will assure your safety during any procedure. SmartLipo in conjunction with Tumescent Liposuction (Liposculpture) is a remarkable method for removing unwanted body fat through a low pain, highly efficient process. SmartLipo is great for those trouble areas that will not go away with diet and exercise. The procedure is done with a special laser that dissolves the fat cells and uses a gentle suction massage to help remove the dissolved fat out of the body. A very small percentage of fat is retained, absorbed into the body and excreted as waste within 24 hours.

Tumescent Liposuction (Liposculpture) is performed by instilling dilute solutions of lidocaine and epinephrine into the fatty areas to be treated. Sclerotherapy was developed over 75 years ago and today is one of the most common treatments for spider and varicose veins. We use sclerotherapy predominantly for larger deeper reticular veins of the torso and extremities whereas the laser is more effective for smaller veins. The solution, once injected into the vein, replaces the blood in the vein and causes irritation and corrosion to the walls of the vessels. The body then begins the natural healing process and the vein begins to decompose, shrink and eventually disappear.
