About Dr. Bradley A. Bodner

Founder and medical director of the South Florida Laser Institute , Dr. Bradley A. Bodner is a world leader in the field of aesthetic medicine. Renowned for his innovative aesthetic procedures, Dr. Bodner personally has created a number of advanced, one-of-a-kind procedures that only can be found at South Florida Laser Institute.

At the University of Wisconsin, Dr. Bodner earned his Bachelor of Science degree with a double major in the fields of zoology and psychology. This was followed by four years of medical school at Des Moines University. Dr. Bodner went on to complete his internship at Michigan State University. This multi-disciplinary and extensive internship entailed specialty training in several fields, including Plastic Surgery, Emergency Medicine, General Surgery, Family practice, Internal medicine, Cardiology and Obstetrics/Gynecology.

With an enduring commitment to academic excellence and the study of advanced treatments, Dr. Bodner went on to pursue a three-year residency program at the University of Chicago in the very specialized field of Physiatry.

Dr. Bodner now focuses exclusively on aesthetic medicine. Having performed literally thousands of laser- and light-based procedures, injections, and chemical peels, Dr. Bodner brings a level of experience and expertise rarely found in the field of aesthetic medicine. The first non-invasive body contouring procedure to effectively remove excess fat. The Erchonia low level laser is the first and only low-level laser approved by the FDA for use during liposuction. The painless laser treatment is administered a few minutes prior to liposuction and works by liquefying the fat in the target area, making the removal of unwanted fat faster and easier. Post-operative bruising and swelling is remarkably reduced and following treatment patients can expect to be back on their feet much sooner than with other forms of liposuction.
