Born and raised in New York City but educated at M.I.T and Boston University, Dr. Navarro is a no nonsense, highly motivated and energetic physician who nonetheless embodies the best qualities of gentleness, caring and overall attention to patient care that she trained for in the conservative Boston Medical circles. She embodies the highest intellectual standards coupled with the best holistic approach to patient health.

She is highly regarded by her peers, is on the Faculty of the American College of Phlebology. She was Board Certified in Internal Medicine in 1990.
She serves on the board of two local charities that care for children; The Children's Place at Homesafe cares for children affected by Aids and abuse in Palm Beach County. The Children's Case Management Organization (CCMO).
She has helped to keep fractured families together with social services and has helped to raise over $500,000 for these organizations. She has been a member of the Palm Beach County Society of Medicine for over 10 years and helped found the Women's Physician's Medical Society in 1988. She was a former Director of Medicine of Wellington Regional Medical Center. She has designed her own medical/fashion hosiery that is available on the internet and highlights in several national publications.
