Dr. Mark X. Lowney is a board certified obstetrician gynecologist and is the medical director of A Woman's Concern Pregnancy Health Centers and CareNet of Rhode Island. He received his MD from the University of Connecticut School of Medicine and completed his residency in OB/GYN at the Brown University affiliated Woman and Infant's Hospital of Rhode Island. He has been in private practice for 18 years and specializes in advanced laparoscopic pelvic reconstructive surgery including laparoscopic total and supracervical hysterectomy. He is a devoted husband and father of 5 children. He enjoys third world medicine where he is a volunteer for The Haitian Health Foundation.
