Services

Smartlipo

A very small cannula (tube) approximately 1.0 mm in diameter containing a laser fiber is inserted into the skin. The cannula is moved back and forth delivering the laser’s energy directly to the fat cells, causing them to rupture and easily drain away. The laser energy also interacts with the dermis, resulting in skin shrinkage or tightening.

Due to the cannula’s small size, Smartlipo is a minimally invasive procedure and can be performed under local anesthesia. The laser causes small blood vessels to coagulate immediately on contact, resulting in less bleeding, swelling and bruising—and a quicker recovery time than conventional liposuction. Because general anesthesia is unnecessary, the procedure is very safe, with only minimal side effects.

Affirm Laser

Cosmetic lasers are proven to effectively treat the wrinkles, photo aging and skin discolorations that time and sun have wrought. In addition to minimizing these imperfections, laser treatment also stimulates collagen production, making your skin appear more supple and full. So even if the years have taken their toll, you can easily turn the clock back.

Mesotherapy/Lipotherapy

Mesotherapy is the most effective and long lasting treatment for cellulite available.  Mesotherapy greatly improves cellulite and stubborn fat pads like “love handles”, “baby belly”, and “saddle bags”. The medications and nutritional supplements used in Mesotherapy work to melt the fat beneath the skin and shrink your fat cells.

Lipotherapy or Lipodissolve is a form of Mesotherapy used for reserved fat areas which has shown the ability to dissolve fat cell membranes and is considered a safe alternative to liposuction.

Prolite Photo Rejuvenation

This procedure improves the appearance and texture of the skin by using pulses of intense filtered light.

The goal of treatment is to reduce redness, flushing, fine spider veins and symptoms of rosacea as well as reducing abnormal skin pigment, improving skin texture, soften fine wrinkles and reduce roughness and pore size.

Prolite is a process with a minimum of 5 treatments given at 2-3 week intervals.

Photodynamic Therapy

The most recent advance in photo rejuvenation is photodynamic therapy (PDT) combined with blue light, known as photodynamic skin rejuvenation. Photodynamic skin rejuvenation involves the application of Levulan, a photosensitizing agent, which is then activated with the Omnilux blue light. This results in significant improvement in precancerous conditions such as AK’s, sun damaged skin, moderate to severe acne, and potentially superficial skin cancers.

Mediostar Laser Hair Reduction

This procedure permanently reduces the amount of hair in treated areas. In general, hair that is treated multiple times will become more sparse with remaining hair becoming thinner and lighter in color. Recommendation is for 6 treatments given at 2-8 week intervals depending on body location.

Omnilux Blue and Revive Light Therapy For Acne

This procedure is effective in treating a wide range of skin conditions including acne, photodamage, aging skin, non-melanoma skin cancer, vitiligo and wound healing post surgery. Omnilux Blue and Revive light treatments are a process and are most effective when used in a series. A series of 8 treatments is generally recommended for acne treatment and consists of 4 Omnilux Blue and 4 Revive light given over 4 weeks.

Mediostar and Viridis Vascular Laser Treatments

During this procedure the laser selectively heats unwanted blood vessels causing them to collapse and be reabsorbed by the body. This procedure can be used to treat both spider veins and larger veins of the face, trunk or legs.

Sclerotherapy

Sclerotherapy is the most commonly used treatment for small diameter veins, such as spider veins. In sclerotherapy, a liquid is injected with a tiny needle into the vein that causes the vein walls to stick together and collapse. The vein is then reabsorbed by the body, disappearing with time. However, the treatment of spider veins does not prevent new veins from forming.

Microdermabrasion

This procedure involves the use of very fine aluminum oxide crystals to remove 1/2 to 1/3 of the epidermal layer of the skin and vacuum to increase blood circulation in the treated area and to discard used abrasion medium and debris. The combination of the removing the epidermal layer and increasing blood circulation stimulates collagen and fibrin formation to create an improvement of the effected area.

Chemical Peel

The purpose of the Chemical Peel is to remove the top “dead” layers of the epidermis and make it more permeable (porous). The goal of the Chemical peel is to improve tone and texture, remove fine lines and wrinkles, improve hyperpigmented areas, correct sun damage, improve mild scarring, and alter pore size. Chemical Peels are a process which requires a series of treatments, generally a single treatment will not provide the results the patient is expecting to see.

Dermawave

The Dermawave uses ultrasound and electrical stimulation to deliver vitamin serum and other anti-aging agents into the dermis. This treatment is used after microdermabrasion and chemical peels.

Thermage

Face/Body Thermage procedures are safe, non-invasive, no downtime, single treatment, cosmetic procedures that are clinically proven to smooth, tighten and contour skin to help naturally restore a more youthful appearance. All Face/Body Thermage procedures are administered in a doctor’s office using the ThermaCool system, FDA cleared for the treatment of wrinkles and rhytids, which utilizes a unique form of Capacitive Radio Frequency (CRF) technology to tighten existing collagen and stimulate new natural collagen production. Immediate results are visible and continue to improve for up to six months. The Thermage procedure is fast and easy, and requires no downtime from normal activities. Unlike lasers, the procedure can be performed on patients of all skin color.
