“I have always believed in taking care of my patients the way I would want someone to take care of me: thorough, compassionate and gentle care. Women and girls are very sensitive or embarrassed about the issues they have and need to be given the knowledge and comfort that a physician is receptive to their concerns. In the 18 years I’ve been performing vaginal surgery, it amazes me the number of women who are not getting the information they need to help them make the best decisions for themselves. After a review of normal anatomy and abnormal anatomy with a model and patient before-and-after photos, and seeing yourself, you will be a better informed patient. You will know what your needs are and how they can be treated.” ~ Dr. Troy Robbin Hailparn
Dr. Hailparn has authored and edited medical journal articles and abstracts in her area of expertise. She is a Scientific Journal Peer Reviewer for several medical journals and is an internationally recognized invited lecturer on vaginal cosmetic surgery. In collaboration with The Center for Sexual Health Promotion at Indiana University, she is also doing research on why women choose vulvovaginal surgery.
Members of the media turn to Dr. Hailparn because of her extensive knowledge and expertise in the field of cosmetic gynecology, vaginal cosmetic surgery and women's health. She has appeared on Discovery Health television, CNN, Strictly Sex with Dr. Drew and has been interviewed for numerous national and international newspapers and magazines.
“You may have been told your gyn medical issues and concerns are normal; that you just have to learn to live with them. I’ve heard the same stories hundreds and hundreds of times. Please call us.”
