What is ArteFill?
ArteFill is a non-absorbable injectable wrinkle filler that is used to correct facial wrinkles, those deep furrows or creases in your face. Unlike other injectable fillers, ArteFill is not absorbed by the body making it a permanent solution for wrinkle correction. It is the longest lasting wrinkle application available without surgery.
Who is a candidate for ArteFill?
Anyone who is interested in long term, permanent correction or reduction of deep naso-labial folds. If you’ve used other types of filler in the past, and if you aren’t allergic to bovine collagen you would be a good candidate for ArteFill.
How long does ArteFill last?
ArteFill is a permanent skin application with long lasting effects. But the aging process is never ending, so like any other cosmetic procedure, as you age you may need another application of ArteFill.
How is the procedure done?
A month before the procedure, you will need to have a skin test in order to determine if you are allergic to the product, if it’s negative then your cosmetic surgeon will schedule your procedure. ArteFill contains lidocaine, which diminishes soreness following the procedure:
ArteFill is injected in stages by your cosmetic surgeon over a period of several weeks to months. Your surgeon will inject the filler just beneath your skin, filling the gaps so that the skin is raised to its normal height. It takes about 3 months for you to experience the full effect of ArteFill.
What is the recovery like?
Like any injectable wrinkle filler you may experience some swelling and redness at the injection site, but it’s temporary. Occasionally there may be some bruising, but normally, there is very little if any recovery time needed.
When do I see the results?
You will experience immediate, visible results with no downtime. The overall results will take place over several months ensuring the results that you desire.
How many sessions can I have?
You will need two, but may choose to have a third for touch up.
When can I return to work have ArteFill?
You can return to work immediately following your procedure.
What is the advantage of ArteFill over other procedures?
The biggest advantage of ArteFill is that it’s permanent and you don’t need follow-up treatment every few months.
Can ArteFill be combined with other procedures?

ArteFill Cost
ArteFill costs $1400 per session or syringe and each session requires one syringe unless it’s a touch up session then it would be less depending on how much of the filler is used.
