What is Threadlift?
A Threadlift procedure is considered the “Lunchtime Facelift!”  The Threadlift combines a face lift and a neck lift procedure in one.  A Threadlift tightens the skin on your face dramatically reducing the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, and sagging skin.

Who is a candidate for a Threadlift?
An ideal candidate for a Threadlift procedure is someone who wishes to have a more subtle change in the mid and lower face region and who also desire minimal downtime.

Which area is Threadlift useful for?
The areas most useful for a Threadlift are the midface, brow or lower face, with the midface being the area that has the greatest effect.

Who is not a candidate for a Threadlift?
You are not a good candidate for a Threadlift if you have a lot of sagging of the skin or deep folds in the tissues.  You will also not make an ideal candidate if you have certain medical conditions that affect your healing or if your are significantly overweight.

How is the procedure done?
Your cosmetic surgeon will pass a hollow needle through your skin at predetermined areas that are not visible. A barbed thread will then be inserted into your skin through the needle, and then the needle is removed.  Next, the threads are positioned and securely anchored with the ends sutured just beneath the surface.

What is the recovery like?
You may experience some bruising and swelling for about a week following your procedure.

When do I see the results?
The results of a Threadlift can be seen right away.   You will see a noticeable “lifting” and shaping of the brow, cheek, jowl and neck.

When can I return to work after a Threadlift?
You will experience some minor bruising and swelling, depending on you and your comfort level, you should be able to return to work the day after your procedure and you can wear makeup as well.  You will need to avoid any facial animations, be careful of mouth movements and rubbing or applying pressure to your face for the first 3 weeks following your procedure.

What are the advantages of Threadlift over other procedures?
A Threadlift will permanently elevate the tissues, helping you to look years younger; however there is no surgical procedure that can stop the clock on aging, so you will continue to see additional signs of aging over time.

Are there any other treatments that can be done with or in addition to my Threadlift?
Check with your cosmetic surgeon, most doctors offer complimentary procedures that will enhance and protect your new look.  Procedures that include: laser rejuvenation, laser peels, Botox, Injectable Fillers, Microdermabrasion and other medical skin care.

Is Threadlift approved for use in USA?
Yes, a Threadlift is FDA approved in the USA.

Is a Threadlift covered by insurance companies?
Unfortunately, no, a Threadlift is considered a cosmetic procedure and is not covered by insurance.  However, most cosmetic surgeons have financing available.

 A Threadlift costs $2000-$5000 per area that is being treated, i.e., brow, cheek, jowl, neck.
