What is Triniti?
Triniti is a cost-effective, non-invasive facial rejuvenation procedure using three separate cosmetic treatments to deliver a fresher, more youthful appearance with little to no downtime and minimal discomfort. ReFirme Skin Tightening, Matrix IR Fractional for Wrinkles and Fotofacial RF Color Correction are three popular technologies that are incorporated into a single treatment session to deliver long lasting results without the pain and expense of surgical facelifts or other invasive cosmetic procedures.
How does Triniti work?
Triniti uses both radio frequency and laser light energy to heat the tissue of the targeted areas to improve skin tone and texture and to stimulate collagen production for gradually improving results. Fotofacial RF Color Correction is the first step in the process and uses pulsed light and radio frequency heat. The light is absorbed differently by small vessels, such as spider veins, and areas of the skin with higher pigmentation, resulting in skin improvement, while the heat encourages increased collagen formation. The second step is ReFirme Skin Tightening, which uses radio frequency and infrared light to encourage existing collagen to form tighter bonds and encourages increased collagen production. The final step is Matrix IR Fractional for Wrinkles. In this step, intense fractional infrared light is used to cause collagen contraction and remodeling, as well as new collagen production.
What areas of the body does Triniti treat?
The Triniti skin series is primarily used for rejuvenation of the face and neck.
What are the advantages of Triniti over other procedures?
The Triniti skin series procedure is more cost-effective, less invasive and requires fewer appointments than other cosmetic procedures that deliver comparable results. It also allows multiple skin issues to be addressed in one convenient appointment, can be combined with other cosmetic treatments for additional convenience and even more significant results, and provides long lasting, natural results that gradually improve over time.
Who is a candidate for Triniti?
Good candidates for the Triniti skin series procedure include men and women with most skin types and colors who are looking for a non-invasive, cost-effective approach to combating the signs of aging and sun damage. This treatment is an ideal option for patients in search of a facial rejuvenation procedure to improve the appearance of sun spots, uneven skin tone, sagging skin, wrinkles, spider veins and nasolabial folds with minimal discomfort and no downtime.
How is Triniti performed?
A treatment plan will be developed during the initial consultation, which will include estimating how many sessions will be necessary and determining the areas to be treated. For most patients, a course of three Triniti skin series treatment sessions scheduled three to four weeks apart will deliver optimal results.
To perform the procedure, a trained practitioner will cleanse the treatment area and provide the patient with protective eyewear. A gel is then applied to the area to be treated and the practitioner will use three different handheld devices to deliver this three-step procedure, which includes photorejuvenation, skin tightening and wrinkle reduction treatments, performed in that order. Patients will likely experience some heat or feel a hot pinching sensation that will subside once the session has concluded. Sessions generally last 40 to 60 minutes for facial treatment, with an additional 15 to 30 minutes added for treating the neck area.
What is the recovery like?
There is no downtime associated with the Triniti skin series and recipients can return to work or regular activities immediately after receiving treatment. It is normal to experience some redness or swelling for a few hours after a treatment session, which can be covered with makeup. If the treatment area included pigmented cells, these areas will become darker over the first week after the procedure and will then flake off. In some rare cases, patients my experience redness and swelling that extends up to several weeks after treatment.
What will my results be like?
Most patients notice gradual improvement in the appearance of their skin that continually improves throughout the series of treatments. Results are generally long lasting and may require maintenance sessions at six-month intervals.
What are the risks?
Side effects that are possible with the Triniti skin series include bruising, infection, scarring and pigmentation issues; however these are very rare. Most patients experience slight discomfort during the treatment and some swelling and redness, which subsides a few hours after the treatment. In some rare cases, swelling and redness may remain for a few weeks after receiving Triniti.
Is Triniti approved for use in the U.S.?
Yes, the Triniti skin series is approved by the FDA for use in the United States.
Is Triniti covered by insurance companies?
Medical insurance companies generally do not offer coverage for any procedure that is not determined to be medically necessary. In most cases this includes cosmetic procedures and treatments, including the Triniti skin series. Financing options and payment plans are often available and should be discussed with the provider prior to receiving treatment.
How much does Triniti cost?
The costs associated with undergoing a series of Triniti skin series treatment sessions depends on geographical location, number of sessions required to achieve desired results, additional treatments that are included in the overall treatment plan and the fees charged by the practitioner.
