Blue Light Acne Therapy is Blue Light Photodynamic therapy and that has been FDA approved. This acne treatment diminishes the P acnes bacteria in your skin. It can be performed by itself or with a topical application of ALA, or Levulan for the management of acne vulgaris.
For Blue Light Acne Therapy, you will sit in facing the Blue Light treatment system for roughly 15 minutes. Depending on the scrupulousness of your acne, you will have weekly treatment sessions for a predetermined number of weeks.
