The Fraxel re:store procedure begins with the application of a topical anesthetic to numb the treatment area. Once the area is numb, a hand piece will be used to deliver a highly focused beam of energy into the area to be treated, in a procedure which takes about a half an hour to perform in most individuals. You may need from three to five treatments, given at two- to four-week intervals, for satisfactory results.

Some men and women may notice some redness and swelling for 24 to 48 hours after the treatment. You will see initial results immediately following treatment with re:store, but optimal results will continue to develop as new collagen forms and damage continues to fade over time.
