Perlane is used to help reduce the folds and wrinkles found in the area from your nose to your mouth. The compound works by binding water molecules for volume, and delaying the breakdown of skin enzymes.
Most people notice a significant difference in about 4-8 months. It may be necessary to have the areas around the lips and chin touched up at least every 6 months, but the other areas of the face may remain wrinkle free for a longer period of time.
Perlane injections take 30-45 minutes. The product in Perlane is non-animal and it has no allergic tendencies so no allergy testing is needed before an injection.
