The VI Peel is a popular cosmetic procedure most often used to treat acne and the effects of sun damage and aging. Peeling will occur after the treatment and usually begins on day three and continues through day four to eight in most cases. Although peeling may be significant, it is generally light enough to be controlled with the application of moisturizer. Patients will notice significant results after just a few days and the VI Peel procedure can be repeated every two weeks, if needed for more damaged skin. For skin with normal amounts of sun damage or aging, it is recommended that patients receive these peels three to four times each year.
A single VI Peel generally costs between $400 and $500 depending on individual provider fees and geographical location.
