LATISSE® is available by prescription from most drugstores, although some cosmetic practitioners or medical spas may offer the product, by prescription, to their patients. The LATISSE® product is a cosmetic product, and is not covered or reimbursable by major medical insurance companies. The cost for each bottle is about $100-$120, and each bottle contains enough solution for one month of applications. From time to time, some clinicians may offer discounts when purchasing multiple bottles, and some may also offer discounts to new or repeat clients.

The cost of LATISSE® is currently not covered by medical insurance providers, but your clinician may offer payment plans when multiple products are purchased in one visit. In addition Allergan, the manufacturers of the LATISSE® product, offer a rewards program called LashPerks for LATISSE® users, which may provide discounts on an occasional basis.

Individuals interested in the LATISSE® product should understand that the solution must be applied regularly to see optimal results. For this reason, patients are advised to establish a routine to ensure applications will not be skipped. Allergan also advises regular snapshots to more effectively chart your own progress and results with the Latisse® product.

Any doctor can prescribe LATISSE® but as with any other medical product or procedure, selecting a doctor who is familiar with the product is a good idea. An experienced LATISSE® provider can help determine if Latisse® is right for you, or if you have any medical or health conditions that may preclude you from being an ideal candidate for the LATISSE® product.
