About Evolence

Evolence is an injectable dermal filler used to treat moderate to deep wrinkles and folds, such as nasolabial folds. As a collagen-based dermal filler, the key ingredient in Evolence is more closely matched to the body’s natural collagen, which is believed to be one of the reasons this dermal filler generally does not cause the bruising and swelling often associated with other fillers, such as those containing hyaluronic acid.

An Evolence treatment session generally takes between 15 and 30 minutes, depending on the number of injections required to achieve the desired results, and is performed in your provider’s office. There is no required pre-test for this procedure; therefore a single visit is all that is needed. Preparation for treatment involves removing makeup and applying a numbing cream of local anesthetic to ease discomfort at the injection sites, followed by a trained practitioner injecting the filler into target areas. Results are immediate and most patients are able to return to work or other daily activities directly after their appointment. Some bruising, redness, swelling or pain may occur at or around the injection sites, which generally subsides quickly.

The cost of an Evolence session depends on your geographical location, individual provider fees and the number of injections required, with an average cost around $500 per syringe. Evolence has been shown to last up to 12 months or longer, which makes this a more cost-effective procedure for many patients. Medical insurance generally does not cover cosmetic procedures that are not seen as medically necessary; however, patient financing options are typically available and can be discussed with your Evolence provider.

Consult with a cosmetic dermatologist or medspa providing Evolence in your area to confirm the cost of treatment and to learn more about Evolence as compared to other available options. Consulting with an Evolence provider near you is the best way to determine if this collagen-based dermal filler is the right cosmetic treatment for you.
