About Fractional Resurfacing
Fractional resurfacing provides the best treatment available for skin resurfacing. It stimulates collagen regeneration at the same time enhancing the quality and texture of the dermis.
A predetermined fractional resurfacing laser beam is passed across your face. The beam penetrates the skin creating an ablative and thermal occurrence without disturbing any of the surrounding tissue. The treated areas begin the process of healing as the collagen is rejuvenated; your skin tightens leaving you with a smoother surface texture.
It is recommended that you have one fractional resurfacing treatment a week for three weeks. Because a laser is involved it reduces the chance of infection. It is not necessary to have pain medication and in most cases you can go back to work right after the procedure.
