About Triactive

Approved by the FDA in 2005, TriActive LaserDermatology was invented in Italy and has been used throughout the world for several years to improve the appearance of cellulite, tighten sagging skin and smooth and tone the skin on the face and body. TriActive is often used by patients who have received liposuction treatments to reduce the appearance of sagging skin and to enhance body contours. The FDA has classified the TriActive apparatus as a Class II device, which means this cellulite treatment can be administered by a spa professional or aesthetician, as well as a medical doctor specializing in cosmetic procedures.

A TriActive treatment session generally lasts between 30 minutes and one hour, depending on the size of the area to be treated, and most patients begin to notice results after five to seven sessions. For optimal results, a series of 10 to 15 sessions is generally required, followed by monthly maintenance sessions to maintain the improved appearance. Patients can expect the cost of a series of TriActive sessions to range from $1,500 to $2,000 and can expect to return to work or regular activities directly after this non-invasive treatment. During the treatment, a combination of suction massage, contact cooling and a low-energy laser are used to improve collagen production, lymph drainage and circulation to enhance the appearance of the skin.

Contact a cosmetic dermatologist or medspa in your area to learn more about TriActive or to schedule a session.
