Juvederm will significantly improve deep lip wrinkles, but in many cases additional treatment using laser resurfacing or chemical peels will improve the quality of the skin and minimize the appearance of these lines.

Juvederm is a good filler materials for those pesky upper lines. Using a very small needle and just going very superficially, you can definitely get a reduction in their appearance. Complete elimination of most vertical lip lines is not possible. Think improvement but not a cure!

Yes, Juvederm can be injected into the upper lip lines. It may not completely remove the lines but will greatly soften them and make them much less noticeable.

Yes, Juvederm can help upper lip wrinkles. I prefer to inject the
entire area as most patients have had significant loss of structure to
their upper lip by the time the lines appear. So, I will first build
up the area under the wrinkles and then I will use a 31 gauge needle
(very small) and directly inject the wrinkles. You will not see them
go away 100% but it will soften their appearance.

Juvederm can be used as a filler for upper lip wrinkles. Both horizontal and vertical injection techniques can be used but both techniques are "off-label" meaning they the product manufacturer has not submitted this type of use to the FDA for approval. This is a very
technique dependent outcome so make sure your practitioner has the experience to provide it.
