For smoker's lines we offer both Restylane and Botox for this area. They work in two different ways. Botox works to relax the muscles causing the contraction is this area and Restylane is used to fill the lines. Both in combination give us great results for our patients.

What you refer to are "smoker's lines". However, these wrinkles are commonly seen in those who have never smoked. They are due to sun exposure, constant movement of the circular muscles around the lips and possibly even bone re-absorption due to aging. Sometimes filler treatments such as Restylane in the lip borders can improve these wrinkles but it may be difficult to achieve the result you desire in this way. Promising results may be achieved with a light-based treatment or Botox in very skilled hands.
