How can I treat naso labial lines?

What is the best treatment or combination treatments for nasolabial facial folds? If you suggest facial fillers as one of the treatments, what one or combination of different fillers is best?

For an immediate result you can treat your nasolabial folds (laugh lines)
with Hyaluronic acid fillers (HA's), such as Restylane, Juvederm and
Perlane. The HA's can plum up the folds to give you a younger look. The
results can last up to a year depending on the product used and how your
body metabolizes it.
You can also do a Thermage treatment to create collagen and skin
tightening. The Thermage treatments will tighten the collagen fibers that
build the foundation or support structure of your skin as well as help
create new collagen. It generally takes 3 to 6 months to see the full
effect of Thermage. Thus, we recommend our clients to do the Thermage
treatment first, followed by the HA fillers a week later. By the time the
HA fillers loses its effects, you will see the effects of the
Thermage, thus you should have a long lasting result beyond a year.
None of the above is not intended as medical advice. If you have a medical
concern, please consult your doctor.

Nasolabial folds are easily treated with a variety of fillers and
techniques. There is no one best product or practice. Each client requires a
full consultation and facial analysis so realistic goals can be set and met.

Dear Patient,
It is difficult to give a proper treatment plan with out an examination.
However the most popular treatments for Nasolabial folds are fillers,
Radiesse being one of the best for this area and lasts the longest. If you
would like to treat the overall appearance, tone, and texture I would
recommend doing IPL treatments in combination with the filler.

Any of the fillers can be used to treat the nasolabial folds. You can use
Zyderm, Zyplast, Restylane, Juvederm, Radiesse, Artefill, Evolence and
Sculptra to name the most common fillers.

I recommend dermal fillers not IPL.

Dermal fillers are the main treatment for nasolabial folds. In fact, most studies on dermal fillers use the nasolabial folds for them because they are so well treated with fillers. Which filler one uses depends on the patients and their goals. Deeper folds will typically be treated with a more "robust" filler. More superficial folds are treated with a "lighter" filler. I prefer Radiesse and Juvederm.

Any filler can be used in this region. The type used depends in part on how much volume loss there is, and whether there is a fold alone or a fold and a skin line too. The decision of which to use is best made by an exerienced injector. I have personally used Restylane, Perlane, Juvederm, Evolence, Radiesse and Prevelle Silk in this region all with very nice correction.

You have lots of injection options for nasolabial folds. We use Restylane and Juvederm because they are easy to work with, reversible and have few side effects. There are also longer lasting filler options such as Radiesse. Fotofacial treatments will not help for the
nasolabial folds.

1) surgery (mid-face lift)
2) fillers - short duration - last 6 months; long duration filler-can last 5 years
3) permanent - fat transfer

It depends on the depth of the lines. We offer free consultations so that we can take a look at your area of concern and suggest the best product for that area.
