If your condition is stable and you are trying to remove red spots, then
a pulsed dye laser may be an option for you. We would recommend asking
your MD that is managing the nephrotic syndrome if it's ok to consider
laser treatments and then if that person gives the go ahead look for a
local practitioner that can provide pulsed dye laser treatments for you.

You should see a Dermatologist. If you still have active acne you can be
treated with medications or lasers to control the acne. If it is residual
scarring you can be treated with topical medications such as AHAs (Alpha
Hydroxy Acids) or Retinoids to decrease the marks from old acne. We can also
use lasers to decrease the scarring you may still have from previous
outbreaks.

I don’t have cystic acne. In fact, my face is clear right now, except for a bit of texture. But I am Hispanic and I suffered from bad moments of acne in the past year. There are a lot of dark spots left over and they are not going away. I want to try Accutane to prevent any future pimples. I’ve also seen people have such flawless skin while on Accutane and wonder if I could get on it just to help my severe hyperpigmentation. Thank you.
