If a person is 60 can they have Vaser Liposelection?

I have underarm skin (or fat) that I would like removed, and some on my stomach and thighs. If I can have this Vaser Lipo done can the fat that is removed be put in other areas to smooth out the cellulite areas. I am 60 and I just want to look better

There is no upper limit for age with Vaser, however, some of the results rely on skin tightening due to formation of new collagen over the 3-6 months following the procedure. The older one is, the less "willing" the body is to make new collagen, so those results are often age-dependent. Fat removed during any lipo procedure, including Vaser, can be used for "autologous fat transfer," which means injecting it elsewhere in the body to fill a defect.

Common areas treated this way are facial lines (such as the nasolabial groove), breasts, and the buttocks (e.g., the "Brazilian butt-lift"). It just so happens that the fat removed during Vaser is of very high quality and has an excellent "take" rate compared to other modalities. Unfortunately, I am not aware of this being a successful treatment for
cellulite. Cellulite is a very tricky problem and one in which we are still looking for a really great way to treat it. Most treatments involve non-invasive means of applying heat to the tissue beneath the skin with or without a mechanical component, often involving suction and/or rollers. These modalities have produced fair to good results, but usually require
repetitive treatments. Some examples include: Thermage, SmoothShapes, VelaShape, Lipomassage by Endermologie. There are also several laser-based treatments.

Your age is no problem as long as you are healthy. I have had patients in their 70's.
