Is Latisse safe for indefinite use and will it continue to maintain longer lashes?

I've been using Latisse for about a year and would like to continue using it. Is this safe?

The medication in Latisse has been used for glaucoma patients to instill in their eyes daily. Glaucoma is a lifetime condition usually requiring chronic use to control eye pressure. There have been no serious side effects reported in these patients applying the medication in their eyes; therefore, there is no reason to believe that application to the eyelid would be detrimental. You should be able to use Latisse for maintenance at this point just a few times a week.

We currently don't have data on long term use. Perhaps Allergan might provide this at some later point. The product itself has been used in glaucoma I believe for more than decade without any reports of any major side effects.

As long as you have not experienced any of the Latisse side effects and are using it as prescribed, then you should be able to continue to use it indefinitely.
