We like Juvederm. It is strong enough to fill in the lines but allows you to maintain a natural look. Juvederm can also last up to 1 yr, so patients really like this added benefit as most fillers state they last up to 6 months.

There are several different filler that can be considered for this area, including Radiesse, Juvederm, Restylane and Perlane. Sometimes one type of filler is used, but other times combining fillers may be the best way to go. I would recommend that you have a detailed consultation with someone who is highly skilled at fillers to review which fillers would be best and how many fillers you would need.

The best volumizing filler for areas around the mouth would be Restylane or Juvaderm. They both work well for this. I don't think one is necessarily better than the other. Consult with a skilled dermatologist who can assess the area and go over the products with you.
