"Liquid facelift" refers to softening of facial lines and wrinkles from
injectable products such as Botox and dermal fillers like Restylane,
Juvederm, Radiesse and others. Botox works to block the release of the
chemical that causes the muscles of facial expression to contract thereby
preventing hypercontraction of these small facial muscles causing lines.
Fillers restore volume to areas of hollowness and crevices such as the folds
from the sides of the nose to the lips. With full correction of these line
and wrinkles a surgical facelift can be simulated. Botox in experienced
hands can soften the horizontal lines aging the neck and the parallel
vertical bands of the neck.

This refers to using dermal fillers to elevate the contours of the face and provide a youthful appearing reshaping to a person's bone structure. I employ the injectable thread lift technique and have found that I can make a syringe of filler last a lot longer. There is no cutting or skin violation involved. There is minimal down time and almost no bruising or swelling.

As we age our skin doesn't just wrinkle, the tissues beneath the skin lose volume causing the skin to sag and fold. A facelift, which surgically removes excess skin, doesn't address the need to infuse the facial features with volume and dimension. A more appropriate treatment for many men and women is a Liquid Face Lift.

A Liquid Face Lift is accomplished using injectible treatments such as BOTOX and Dermal Fillers, including Juvderm, Restylane, Radiesse and numerous others. These dermal fillers are made of naturally existing molecules such as Hyaluronic Acid and Calcium Hydroxyapatite which are biocompatible, biodegradable, and are absorbed by the body over time. Dermal Fillers may be used to augment diminished, sunken facial features like the cheeks, cheek bones, temples, nasolabial folds (smile lines), and lines around the mouth and lower face.

Unlike a surgical facelift, a Liquid Face Lift can typically be done in around and hour, requires no sedation, and results in little or no downtime.
