IPL (or Photofacials) remove most of the red and brown pigment on your skin
caused through sun damage. The skin appears healthier, more taut and better
hydrated. This is an excellent way to retain the youthful look of your face.
However, it is not the only spoke in the wheel. Good medical grade skin care

Probably not. IPL is best for facial discolorations, brown spots, redness, and/or rosacea. Early Botox can help prevent significant wrinkles. Microdermabrasion and/or chemical peels can be helpful for most skin types. Good skin care products including a moisturizer with sunscreen and an antioxidant serum are part of a good preventive care regimen. See a qualified medical spa for a consult.

Yes, this would be an ideal treatment (as long as you are not very dark
skin). This would help with sun spots, improve skin texture, and help with
fine lines. It is ideal also because when done correctly there is very
little to no redness and no downtime.
