Which treatments are best for stubborn acne?

I have a lot of acne on my face and I've tried Proactive and a bunch of other acne products (which have not worked), what other possible treatments/products could I try?

It can be a challenge to find effective treatments and products for acne. In terms of at-home skincare products, it is important to utilize products that do not contain harmful ingredients. Mineral oil is commonly used in low-quality products and can prevent effective acne treatment. Also, the active ingredients need to be delivered deep in the pore. Some products cannot achieve this, which may result in damage to the upper layers of the skin, causing redness and irritation. We recommend you speak with the skincare team at your local medical spa. Most medical spas have several safe and effective at-home regimens to treat acne. Laser treatments, chemical peels and acne facials are also treatment options. We also encourage our clients to increase consumption of vegetables and decrease consumption of processed food. Healthy skin begins from the inside out.

There are many other treatments available to you to treat your acne that are
not over the counter medications.
We have several oral antibiotics, topical antibiotics and many other types
of topical medications. We can also use Accutane to try and "cure" your
acne.
If you don't want to treat your problem with oral medications we can use
different lasers to treat your acne. I personally have 3 different kinds of laser treatments in my office. So
don't give up. You have lots of treatment choices available to you.
See a Dermatologist to customize a plan just for you. Just be patient,
It can take a couple of months for the treatments to start working.

Dr. Stephen Kraus, uses compound medications that are specially formulated and personalized to each patient's needs. It's an alternative to what is on the market and in your pharmacy.

I don’t have cystic acne. In fact, my face is clear right now, except for a bit of texture. But I am Hispanic and I suffered from bad moments of acne in the past year. There are a lot of dark spots left over and they are not going away. I want to try Accutane to prevent any future pimples. I’ve also seen people have such flawless skin while on Accutane and wonder if I could get on it just to help my severe hyperpigmentation. Thank you.
