Peri-oral lip lines, often from sun, age and smoking, are a common complaint. Fractional CO2 resurfacing has become the best treatment option for improving these lines. Improvement will be seen after 1 treatment, but expect 2-4 treatment sessions for maximal benefit. Be sure to consult about Fractional CO2 resurfacing, as non-ablative fractional resurfacing and fractional Erbium lasers tend to be less effective. Also, always consult with a Board Certified Physicain (www.abms.org) with expertise in aesthetic medicine, such as Dermatology of Plastic Surgery, to found out the treatment protocol best for your skin type and condition.
