If the sun damaged skin involved a condition called Actinic Keratosis
(precancerous skin lesions) then we might suggest photodynamic therapy
with ALA (Levulan). If the sun damage was instead just sun spots or
freckles, we would much rather use a q-switched laser like the Palomar
Q-Yag V or the Medlite C-6. It depends on the type of sun damage.

Sun damaged skin is at risk for skin cancer. Other than that, it is a cosmetic
problem. Photodynamic Therapy (Blue light with Levulan) is one treatment that
