Yes, if it is under control. The medications to sedate you will usually drop the blood pressure during the treatment. We monitor your BP throughout.

Patients with high blood pressure can have laser liposuction if the blood pressure is controlled. An acceptable blood pressure would be SBP < 170, DBP <100 with no active symptoms such as chest pain, shortness of breath, etc.
