How many laser hair removal sessions are needed on average?

I don't have a dense growth of hair on my chin and upper lip. Given this, is it possible to achieve hair removal in as little as 3 sessions?

Hair reduction is what you'll be getting. Hair removal via laser is never complete and the results are not totally permanent.

Dense hair growth usually requires more treatments. Another reason why 6-8 treatments is normal is that the hair grows in cycles and it's not possible to treat all of the hair you have at the same time because 30% - 40% of it is not present on any given day.

You really need 6 sessions to achieve desired outcome, which is hair reduction.

It could be possible; however, the hair grows in cycles and treating each cycle is how we get success with hair removal. Usually this requires about 5 treatments, possibly more. Treatments can be purchased in single sessions, so I would suggest doing single treatment sessions.
