Restylane Ingredients, Safety?

I have a lot of allergies to cosmetic products. What is Restylane made of, and will it be safe for me?

Restylane is made of hyaluronic acid, which is a complex sugar that is found in our skin and joints. It also contains an anesthetic (lidocaine). Very rarely someone may have an allergic reaction to the lidocaine but not to the hyaluronic acid.

Restylane is a dermal filler that is made up of hylauranic acid which is naturally found in our skin. However if you do suffer from severe allergies, allergies to lidocaine and/or have history of anaphylaxis you may not want to use dermal fillers.

The active ingredient in Restylane is hyaluronic acid, a compound that is produced naturally by the body. Restylane is the synthetic version of hyaluronic acid, but we have never seen an allergic reaction to Restylane in our practice. Granulomas are bumps caused by inflammation after injection and these can occur even if you are not allergic to the product. Although granulomas do occur in some patients, they can easily be reversed by injecting hyaluronidaise, a product that will break down the Restylane immediately.

I had Restylane put in my tear troughs. My right eye is perfect, but my left is overfilled. It seems to be making a crease on my cheek because it has been overfilled. How many months before the filler fades a bit? I want my left eye to look normal and perfect like the right.
