A step-by-step guide that addresses in depth topics that include:

Practice settings: different kinds and comparison of costs associated with each setting
Becoming a corporation; if so, what kind
Management of financial records
Purchase of equipment and products that include what kind
Purchase of products and equipment
Inventory: how much is enough?
Staff: if so how many?
Business loans for start ups
Finding a Medical Director and structuring compensation without violating laws

Workshop discussion will include:

Using a sample Business Plan Template, participants will project personal, professional/educational, and financials goals for 1yr, 5yrs, 10yrs.
Participants will work with a Proforma Template with a sample 3yr financial projection to help visualize your business’s financial performance
Building a menu of services, Floor Planning, Staff training and development, Marketing Strategies, Pricing and purchasing, the competition, positioning for the future and legal issues are also included in discussion.

Workshop Participants will be able to:

Describe and identify their corporate needs
Describe and develop a business plan
Describe and develop a Proforma
Discuss and demonstrate business management financially, professionally, and legally
Describe and Demonstrate key factors in purchasing, pricing, and staff development and training
Discuss and identify future growth issues

Workshop Materials:

Participants will receive a course manual, marketing tools, necessary supporting forms and templates on disc that includes a business plan and Proforma templates, history, consents, policy/procedure templates, purchasing sources, sample working agreement contracts and the every day working ‘pearls’ that are invaluable to new business owners.

CANCELLATION POLICY
Please note: All cancellations must be received (not postmarked) in writing via mail or fax transmission. Workshops require detailed planning and preparation therefore our Cancellation Policy is strictly enforced.
REFUNDS: Full refund, minus $100.00 processing fee, if cancelled a minimum of 14 days prior to the start of the workshop. Cancellations after this time will not be refunded but with approval from ESI administrators, may be applied to future workshops
• If this workshop does not have a minimum number of registrants necessary to teach the course, or if for reasons beyond our control the course is cancelled or postponed, registration fee will be refunded in full. (Please note, ESI is not responsible for deposits to hotels, non-refundable airline tickets or fees associated with necessary airline changes).
