SCLEROTHERAPY SOLUTIONS Workshop Overview
This comprehensive one-day hands-on training workshop will focus on basic theory of treating cosmetic visual telangiectasias, related anatomy and physiology, epidemiology, patho- physiology, contraindications, complications, safety issues, and sclerosing agents.

Didactic presentation will include:

Presentation of comprehensive patient history and selection, treatment considerations, injection techniques, and management and treatment of adverse events
Treatment of reticular veins introduction

Workshop will include Practicum Hands – On session that will highlight the afternoon. A course specific,

SCLEROTHERAPY SOLUTIONS Workshop Objectives
Workshop Participants will be able to:

Describe pathologic process of telangiectasia development
Classify telangiectasias according to size and appearance
Plan safe preparation and dilution of Sclerotherapy medication
Assess patients to ensure safe administration of medication
Demonstrate proper Sclerotherapy injection technique
Describe proper mangament and treatment of complications
Recognize opportunities for practice expansion based on Sclerotherapy research and development

Workshop Materials:

Participants receive a course manual, marketing tools, essential forms and templates on a disc that include history, consent, and policy/procedure forms.

Certification of Training & Continuing Education, CE, credits:

Upon completion of SCLEROTHERAPY SOLUTIONS Workshop:

RN’s are eligible to earn 9 Contact Hours (CE’s) approved for Nursing.
Physicians & Physician Assistants are eligible to earn a maximum of 7.5 AMA PRA Category I credits™. (Physicians and Physician Assistants should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity).

CANCELLATION POLICY
Please note: All cancellations must be received (not postmarked) in writing via mail or fax transmission. Workshops require detailed planning and preparation therefore our Cancellation Policy is strictly enforced.

REFUNDS
Full refund, minus $100.00 processing fee, if cancelled a minimum of 14 days prior to the start of the workshop. Cancellations after this time will not be refunded but with approval from ESI administrators, may be applied to future workshops.

If this workshop does not have a minimum number of registrants necessary to teach the course, or if for reasons beyond our control the course is cancelled or postponed, registration fee will be refunded in full. (Please note, ESI is not responsible for deposits to hotels, non-refundable airline tickets or fees associated with necessary airline changes).
