Potential Side Effects of LipoDissolve

As with all procedures related to fat reduction, there are potential side effects with LipoDissolve that patients must be aware of before undergoing treatment. While most of these potential side effects of LipoDissolve are quite natural and with time, fade away, there may be cases when the side effects may require additional treatment due to adverse reactions of a particular patient

Immediate Side Effects of LipoDissolve

Any patient undergoing LipoDissolve will experience certain standard side effects within the first 3 days of undergoing the procedure. In almost all cases, patients have experienced reddening of the skin near the targeted area as well as swelling and/or bruising of the skin.

Patients will also experience aches in their muscles, the kind associated with injections of any kind. Along with these, burning and/or itching at the targeted area may also occur within the first 72-hours of undergoing LipoDissolve.

Facial Side Effects of LipoDissolve

Having undergone facial LipoDissolve treatment, a patient may experience side effects restricted especially to the facial region. The most common potential side effect of LipoDissolve is facial swelling that can last of up to 7-days from the day of the procedure. In many cases, physicians may prescribe a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug to reduce any muscle ache that may occur, although such cases arise when a patient is allergic to some aspect of the procedure. In case the allergic reaction is severe, the patient may require intravenous steroids, although such a reaction is quite rare.

Other Side Effects of LipoDissolve

In some cases, patients may experience some other potential side effects of LipoDissolve wherein the skin of the targeted area may become permanently red. Nodules may also form on the affected area and such side effects may last for almost 2 months even. However, they are not permanent and will disappear after some time.

During the procedure, a patient may experience some circulatory problems such as a dizzying effect, which may overcome the patient. The patient may also experience sweating or sickness, although such problems may also be attributed to the process of the needle entering their body, rather than as a reaction to the chemicals being injected.

It is not unnatural for patients to excrete fat, following LipoDissolve, through their bowels. During such a reaction, the patient may experience diarrhea and, therefore, find herself excreting the dissolved fat. In case of female patients, fat cells releasing estrogen may also result in inter-menstrual bleeding. Patients have also displayed allergic rashes that are similar to nettle rash.
