How VelaShape Works
VelaShape is an FDA approved weight loss procedure that will be applied on the problem areas. VelaShape combines energy devices such as Bi-Polar Radiofrequency (RF), Infrared Light Energy and the Vacuum and Mechanical Massage. The massage rollers and the vacuum will activate the lymphatic drainage and reduce fat.
VelaShape is applied in 4 sessions that will be scheduled by the surgeon, depending on the results and the way the skin and the body react to the first treatment.
Areas that VelaShape Treats in Men
Typically, VelaShape is applied on the thigh and buttocks area in men. The average results are a loss of 0.5 to 3 inches, but in men these results tend to be improved. Men can lose approximately 5 inches on average following a VelaShape treatment. The skin will also be softer. In women the procedure is can be used to reduce the appearance of cellulite; however, cellulite in men is very rare, so the procedure is only used as a slimming treatment. In men, the side effects after a treatment (swelling and bruising) are less visible than in women.
