VelaSmooth for Adolescents

VelaSmooth is a non surgical cosmetic procedure that is used to reduce cellulite and soften skin. It may not appeal to adolescents, since they may not have cellulite. However, some adolescents may opt for this procedure to tighten their skin and eliminate fat.

Adolescents and the VelaSmooth Procedure

VelaSmooth is used to reduce adipose tissues, tighten skin and reduce cellulite. In adolescents, the procedure may be used to reduce fat. It may be a popular choice as opposed to other fat reduction methods, as VelaSmooth is a non invasive procedure.

The procedure employs electro-optical synergy and infrared light which will melt fat cells; the fat will be eliminated through urine. The infrared light may also speed up the metabolism of the patient, helping in the elimination of the fat.

VelaSmooth is actually like a massage; several rollers will be placed on the patient’s skin and these will target the fat tissues. To get optimal results, the VelaSmooth treatment should be applied several times in an interval of 1 to 2 months. The fat will be gradually eliminated and the optimal results should be visible 2 to 6 months after the first treatment.

The procedure will allow patients to return to their daily activities immediately after the treatment and will cause minimal side effects such as bruising or redness. While adolescents aren't the targeted age group for this procedure, they may opt to get it done as a means of fat reduction.
