Vitalize Peel and Oily Skin

Vitalize Peel is a treatment that can be applied on the face, neck, cleavage, back or arms, and may reduce wrinkles and fine lines or remove acne and age spots. The Vitalize Peel cosmetic procedure can be used on normal, oily or dry skin. If you have oily skin, you should know what effects Vitalize Peel has on your skin.

What to Expect with Oily Skin

Vitalize Peel applied on oily skin will give the same results as when applied on normal or dry skin. The differences may occur after the procedure.

If you have oily skin, you may experience fewer side effects; some of the common side effects of Vitalize Peel include skin flaking, skin dryness, swelling, blistering or discoloration.

Your skin may be dryer than usual, but it should get back to normal after a few days. Get a strong moisturizer to use during these days, and when the skin gets back to normal, use your regular moisturizers. If you skin starts peeling (in very rare cases in patients with oily skin), talk to you physician to recommend you a special formula cream.

You should also protect your skin from the sun for 1 week after the Vitalize Peel treatment. Get a sunblock with a SPF protection of 30 or over and make sure it is suitable for oily skin.
