Fotofacial IPL (also known as IPL photofacial) is a non-invasive skin treatment that lightens dark spots, spider veins, and redness in the face, hands, and other areas. Fotofacial IPL uses broad wavelengths of light to specifically target the brown melanin and red hemoglobin pigments in your skin without damaging other areas.

How Fotofacial/IPL treatment is performed

Treatment is performed in your dermatologist’s office and takes about 20 minutes per session. Your skin will be cleansed and your doctor may apply a numbing or cooling gel for your comfort.
