How do I get rid of small, red veins around my nose and melasma around my lips and forehead?

I have very small, red veins around my nose. Which treatment would get rid of them for good? Also, I have some light melasma around my lips and forehead. Is there a treatment you can recommend for getting rid of that too?

We use what is called a YAG laser treatment on the tiny red veins around the nose. They darken up and disappear within a few days to a week. As far as the melasma, you can treat that in a variety of ways, including topical creams like Retin A, chemical peels, or a laser treatment.

The facial veins, particularly the ones around the nose, can be easily treated with a laser. We use the Cutera excelV, which has remarkably good results and they are instantaneous. You can arrive at the office with visible veins and leave without them! As far as the melasma, there are topical products as well as peels that can help.

Deep FX Fractional Resurfacing -1 answer
I had deep FX fractional resurfacing on my peri-oral area and forehead 5 weeks ago. My forehead has healed, but the region around my peri-oral area is still discolored (somewhere between gray & pink). Will this go away or is it permanent? I expected a 2-3 wk recovery.
