I've had acne since giving bith to my son 2 years ago, would this still be considerd hormonal acne?

To a large extent, almost all acne has a hormonal component to it. Knowing this does not solve your problem though. If you have dry skin, it's likely that are washing too often or using products that are taking too much moisture from the skin. Acne patients often think that their skin is too oily and should therefore try to dry it out. Often this makes their acne worse because drying the skin can be irritating which causes inflammation and more acne.

First step would be to keep your face moisturized with a non-comedogenic oil free moisturizer. If that helps with the dryness but not the acne, we would recommend seeing a physician about antibiotics or other medication options. If these do not work, then we would recommend trying alternative treatments such as lasers.
