Juvederm results have diminished after 7 weeks

We find that hyaluronic acid based products like Juvederm and Restylane
do not last very long in the lips because of the amount of movement. We
find that our Restylane lasts between 3-9 months with the lips about 3
months, the nasolabial folds (laugh lines) about 6 months and the tear
trough area (under eye) about 9 months. This is because the lower face
has much more movement and so the product degrades more quickly.

As for the bump, talk to your practitioner about whether that
needs to be dissolved with hyaluronidase. It sounds like the product
may have been placed too near the surface of the skin. If it is in fact
superficial product, he/she should offer to remove it.
